Yes. Posting routes, requesting rides, messaging, and rating are all free for individual users — and they'll stay that way. Carpool1 never takes a cut of cost-sharing between driver and rider, and we don't sell user data. Free is the foundation.

Anyone can create a small private community for free. The Organization plan is for larger groups — companies, schools, hospitals, apartment complexes, churches — that want unlimited members, dedicated setup help, admin tools, and reporting. You're paying for scale and service, not for the basic feature.

There's no hard rule. If you're a few dozen people in a neighborhood or a small office, the free tier covers you. Once you're past ~50 active members, or you want managed onboarding, admin reporting, or branding, an Organization plan is usually the right fit. When in doubt, just reach out and we'll tell you honestly.

No — never. Any cost-sharing for gas, tolls, or parking is arranged directly between driver and rider, outside the app. Carpool1 doesn't process, facilitate, or take a cut of money between users. That's true on every plan, including Organization.

Yes. We work with non-profits, public schools, and community groups at reduced rates — and sometimes for free, depending on size and mission. Email support@carpool1.com and tell us about your group.

It means the feature is on the near-term roadmap. Organization customers help us prioritize what ships first — if you need a specific capability before signing on, tell us and we'll be upfront about the timeline. We don't sell vaporware.

Member is an upcoming tier for individual users who want to support the project and get a few extra perks — a supporter badge, early access to features, and a more direct line to the team.
